There is a particular arrangement to the Bible, but if you’ve read it very much, you might have noticed that it’s not all laid out in order of events. This chronological reading plan rearranges your daily readings so you are getting a timeline of the scriptures from start to finish. It’s a pretty cool way to really understand the context of when things happened and how they fit together!

The Blue Letter Bible “Chronological” plan is compiled according to recent historical research, taking into account the order in which the recorded events actually occurred. This is a fantastic plan to follow if you wish to add historical context to your reading of the Bible. If the schedule provided is followed, the entire Bible will be read in one calendar year.
